Blue and white spongeware pottery jar featuring a bulbous shape with a handled rim. The interior is plain white and unglazed, while the base has a maker's mark, possibly indicating 'Benn' and '89'. The jar measures approximately 7 inches tall and 7 inches in diameter. Condition appears good overall with visible handcraft elements.
